I heard the Lord say he desires the church would preach more on righteousness rather than self glorification. I mean righteousness exalts a nation still right? More time should be given to revealing the kingdom of God rather than hitting personal goals...It was the centre of Jesus' ministry.
If we take care of Gods' agenda he'll take care ours...take no thought for what you should eat springs to mind.
We spend so much time on ourselves; we get stuck in constantly trying to edify ourselves till our agenda blocks Gods' agenda.
The greatest gift is salvation therefore Gods' great plan is to bring his sons back home to their first love...our personal needs come after. Therefore, spiritual before physical: my bills, leisure and all else follow my duties as an ambassador of Christ. I wasn't put here for myself.
If righteousness and integrity guide us (Proverbs 11:3, 5) could the lack of it be why so many are lost? Then shouldn't this be widely taught?
We seek to save Gods' lost children without giving them the solution. They'll get born again but get lost again if they are not living in righteousness.
Let's endeavor to not let those 'born again' get 'lost again'.
Matthew 6:33 exhorts us to go after the kingdom & righteousness. We must have knowledge of where were from & how we act. Righteousness doesn't just put us right with God but it’s our certificate of entitlement to a victorious & glorious life.
It’s frustrating trying to get breakthroughs & blessings when we are not living right. It’s even more annoying when were taught prosperity prior to. Don't get me wrong I believe in the prosperity message but I believe many ministries are building without foundations.
Without holiness we can't hear Gods' voice so he sends signs which are visual yet if your eyes are focused elsewhere you'll miss it.
It takes the obedience of a prophet to bring correction and intercession to the body of Christ and break traditions. It takes a special grace, consisting of mercy & truth which purges iniquity (Proverbs 16:6), to be sent to the church. Jonah was given this assignment, in fact all prophets and some were scared because they knew it wasn't a popular message. It still isn't, most would rather hear a prophecy on money.
I beseech all prophets, prophetesses & all in prophetic ministry to not fear nor look to their faces but to speak what the Lord has given you. (Ezekiel 3:9)
And we know they will not receive as if you were preaching on prosperity but the message you have is a matter of life & death.
Prophetic ministry is lonely for this reason. “The hidden message”
The Lord says "Be holy, even as I am holy" the Father wants his children like him.
Let's relay the foundations of kingdom principles & righteousness again.
Again we shall hear the voice of one crying in the wilderness! Prepare ye the way of the Lord!
